"I had a tire blow out on Interstate 26 East of the I95 interchange. I changed out my tire, but only had a donut spare for the remaining 800 miles of our trip. Attempted to contact three area Walmarts but no one answered their phones. Did a quick Google search and found Green's 24hr tire service, 96 miles to the North in Florence, SC. I reached out to Mr. Green, and explained my predicament. He said that he did have tires and that he did have a used one if I was interested. This solution allowed me to replace the donut spare with a full size tire again so that I could continue my journey north on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend. We arranged to meet in Florence where he removed my donut spare, took of the destroyed tire and put a new "used" tire onto my rim, giving me the opportunity to continue North again. Mr. Green made a negative travel event into a tolerable mishap. His communication, "his word" and his handshake proved to me that there a still good, hardworking, honest people that are willing to help others in their time of need. Thank you sir. Job well done. We made it back to Central NY with your help."
"Mr. Greene made a scarey experience so much better. We were hauling horses 700 miles when we lost a tire in sc and made it to Bucc-ee's at exit 170. He was right on time and even had new tires at reasonable price. He was courteous and professional and had all the equipment needed (tire changer, generator, etc.).
